Sekisaka Co., Ltd. is a lacquerware manufacturer founded in 1701. Originating in the Kawada district of Sabae City, Fukui, the company is now based in Echizen City, where it continues its production today.

While inheriting the traditions of the lacquerware industry, Sekisaka reinterprets the techniques and craftsmanship accumulated in the region and collaborates with designers from Japan and abroad. Crossing the boundaries of materials, techniques, and places of production, it develops products that respond to contemporary lifestyles under its two brands, “SEKISAKA” and “SARO.”
